Co-production – Deciding Together
This web resource describes some useful case studies of co-production undertaken by Mind and provides helpful links to further resources and discussion.
The resource also highlights some useful things to think about before you start a co-pro process:
Is the balance of power genuinely equal in the decision making? To be called co-production, there must be a genuinely equal and reciprocal relationship between staff and people with lived experience and recognition that all contributions are valuable.
Are there mutually agreed on responsibilities and expectations?
Are you able to support people to take part in the development process and subsequent delivery? How will you do this?
