Co-creating Wellbeing training course
Are you interested in learning more about co-creation and how you can apply it in your practice or research?
The Co-creating Wellbeing course, run by Coventry University, is aimed at people involved or interested in the areas of health, education, welfare, youth services, sport and other wellbeing-related fields. Learning about co-creation can be useful for members of the public, professionals working in practice, research or policy making, or a mixture of those.
The course covers understanding, planning, and doing co-creation. The course is online and can be completed at a pace to suit you. There will be a face to face session held at the Richard Crossman Building, Coventry University on 7th July (timings to be confirmed but it will be approx. 10am to 5pm with lunch included).
The course itself contains 3 modules to complete:
Module 1: covers definitions and underpinning theories to co-creation
Module 2: covers co-defining, co-designing and co-refining in wellbeing settings
Module 3: covers case studies of using co-creation in wellbeing settings, and attendance at the face to face session, where attendees will get to experience a range of co-creation activities and explore how we can evaluate our co-creation work
Each module contains a number of short talks to listen to, and a number of short activities for you to complete in your own time.
