#CoProWeekScot - See what's happening so far
Learning event: Your Big Questions for Co-production
Monday 18th November, 1pm lunch for a 1:30pm - 3:45pm.
The Lighthouse, Glasgow
Co-pro week is just a few weeks away and we're excited to kick things off and welcome you to our learning event focusing on the Big Questions for Co-production in Scotland.
We asked network members to tell us their big questions, and this event will be a chance for us to come together and talk about our responses to some of these - questions like:
What is co-production achieving in communities across Scotland?
Can you have co-production without first having co-design?
How can we enable people who come from cultures where power sharing is unusual to better understand co-production?
These are just some of the questions posed by members, and we’re certain you'll have you own to bring to pose to other network members - and perhaps get some answers.
So join us to share what’s on your mind about co-production, a chance for networking and to hear from the learning and experiences of others.
All our events are free and open to anyone interested in co-production.

Poverty: Our Hidden Shame Resource Pack
The launch of a new interactive resource pack for young people that explores the impact of poverty in our local communities.
To explore the impact of poverty in local communities, Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership South Health Improvement Team worked, Plantation Productions, The Gal Gael Trust and Oxfam Scotland worked in partnership with the young people at Create Crew to deliver a youth-led participatory action research project.
The result of the project was a youth-led documentary film “Poverty: Our Hidden Shame?” which was short-listed at BAFTA for the AHRC Inspiration Award 2016.
To support the film a resource pack has since been developed by adapting sessions from the Health Issues in the Community training programme.
The new resource encourages learners to explore further some of the issues raised in the film such as: what is poverty, who’s in poverty, beliefs about poverty, poverty and understanding inequality by using participative exercises, group discussions and digital approaches.
Friday 22nd November, Glasgow. Sign up here.
