Learning event: Investing in lived experience - key messages for co-production

Wednesday 24th November 2021, 1pm - 3:30pm on Zoom.

Resourcing communities to address their priorities and investing in showing that it works are two key messages for co-production in Scotland.

As part of Co-production Week Scotland, this learning event provided a focus to share experiences from a funder’s perspective and hear how funded projects are bringing lived experience to successful co-production approaches.

Key discussion points included:

  • Can co-production help people escape the poverty trap?

  • How might funders embrace co-production more fully?

  • How is co-production helping tackle issues such as homelessness and managing successful life changes?

This participative event was a chance to hear from organisations such as the Robertson Trust, Homelessness Network Scotland, Maternal Mental Health Scotland & more. Please see below the presentations from each organisation.
