‘Excluded’ short film

This co-produced film was made by and features young people from Glasgow and London talking about the issue of school exclusion and their ideas and experiences.

The film’s producer, Sarah Wishart, worked directly with young people and the organisations supporting them, including Includem and The Advocacy Academy - both organisations driven by co-production.

Together the group workshopped how the young people wanted the film to develop and all those who wanted to were named as co-producers on the film and received wages for their work.

The film has been viewed over 19,000 times online and featured in special events as well.
