A review of Risk and Resilience in Children of Prisoners suggests that development of effective interventions should seek to support children to successfully manage the experience of having a parent in prison through positivre psychology approaches and the development of resilience through connection with the child and the family unit or primary care-giver.
The aim of this contract is to explore the impact of parental involvement in the justice system on Children, Young People and their families or significant care-giver and co-produce responses to those findings that support those individuals and families.
Those who register before 16/6/16 will have the option of meeting with some of the Steering Group to discuss ideas and clarification issues relating to their tender submission.
Closing date for submission of tenders is 11/7/16.
