Call for innovative project proposals now open

The Queens Nursing Institute Scotland (QNIS), a Burdett Trust funding partner, has announced the Delivering Dignity Programme to fund nurse-led projects from 2013-2015. This Programme aligns with the national Person-Centred Health and Care Programme and is supported by the Chief Nursing Officer.

Grants of up to £10,000 will be awarded to nurse-led quality improvement projects, carrying out or implementing new research into practice in community settings in Scotland.  Community settings are defined as the places where older people live; at home, in care homes or community hospitals.

About the Programme

The Delivering Dignity Grants Programme aims to improve the dignity and healthcare experience of older people in Scotland. It will do this by supporting a number of projects that promote nursing leadership to improve the quality of care for older people in the community, including care homes and community hospitals.

Project Leads will benefit from two QNIS development workshops and individual support to complete the proposed project.
