Learning event: Taking a chance - How do we fund co-production?
Join us for this Scottish Co-production Network learning event to explore how we can make the case for funding co-production and to hear examples of co-produced approaches to grant making in practice.
Tuesday 10th March 2020, 12:30pm networking lunch for a 1:30pm start until 4:30pm.
NASUWT Scotland (The Mews), 35 Young Street North Lane, Edinburgh, EH2 4JD
We know that one of the riches of co-production is not knowing what the end point of the process will be. But this can make it difficult when making the case for the support and resources we need to take co-production forward.
This event will be a chance to share our experiences across the network in how we have made the case for the approach, and how we can engage our funders and contributors in taking a chance on co-production. The event will also hear examples of participatory grant making and co-productive approaches to programme design.
Life Changes Trust
We’ll be hearing from the Life Changes Trust about how they’ve used co-production to involve young people with care experience, people living with dementia and unpaid carers of people with dementia in how they design and deliver their work.
Homeless Network Scotland
We’ll hear from Homeless Network Scotland involving people with experience of homelessness in the design and delivery of their work - what have been the challenges to securing funding for this type co-productive approach? And what opportunities have emerged?
This participative event will be a great opportunity for discussion, learning from others and sharing your experiences.
