Housing and Homelessness: Where now for service user involvement?

An opportunity to share your learning and experience around co-production

Date: Wednesday 20th April 2016
Time: 10am – 3pm
Venue: St Paul’s & St George’s Church, Edinburgh

The involvement of people who have lived experience of homelessness or bad housing is really beginning to influence the development of both practice and policy. The Scottish Co-production Network, the Scottish Homelessness Involvement and Empowerment Network and Shelter Scotland wish to invite you to a learning event to explore how we can build on current best practice in exploring new ways to develop meaningful service user involvement.

This event will give a chance for Network members to share the skills, learning and experience of co-productive approaches that have taken place across sectors all over Scotland.

If your organisation is committed to developing the involvement of people who have lived experience, please join us for this free event on April 20th, 2016 in St. Paul’s and St. George’s Church, Edinburgh. Travel and other costs are available for people who have lived experience to attend.

Key themes include:

  • Service user involvement in public services
  • Self-Directed Support
  • Peer-led approaches in service design and delivery
  • Developing co-productive approaches to housing and homelessness issues
