Inclusion Scotland recruitment
Inclusion Scotland is recruiting for a Rights and Resilience Project Officer.
As part of this role you will:
- Use community development approaches to engage with a range of organisations, identifying assets and gaps
- Promote understanding about welfare reforms and their impact within the wider policy landscape
- Support the co-production of activities and programmes which mitigate its impact on disabled people and builds resilience
- Identify implications for policy and practice.
The successful candidate will have a track record of community development and capacity building, networking and collaborative working. With a sound knowledge of welfare reform issues, experience of project co-ordination, the voluntary sector and working with disabled people or their organisations would be advantageous.
You would be joining Inclusion Scotland at an exciting time in its development; this being one of a number of new projects aiming to respond to the needs and aspirations of disabled people across Scotland.
