Workshop Description
Come and see the guide and learn more about how to use it. If you are collaborating already with academics or thinking about working with academics in the future this guide will give you lots of tips and ideas to make your collaboration work smoothly.
The Knowledge Translation Network (KTN) was established in 2012 in response to an identified need to support the third sector to maximise the impact of the knowledge and evidence they generate by ensuring it reaches Scotland’s service providers and decision-makers. Running parallel to the Scottish Third Sector Research Forum, the KTN aims to:
- Share learning about effective knowledge translations
- Promote the use of evidence in decision-making
The “Collaborating with academics” guide responds to a demand amongst third sector organisations for guidance on how to collaborate with academics to generate and use evidence.
Included in the Programme:
'Collaborating with academics' case study presentation: Claire Frew, Glasgow Homelessness Network
Introduction to the 'Collaborating with academics' guide
