Asset mapping and co-production blog

Picture of posterSCDC Development Manager Paul Ballantyne has written about his experiences of trying out asset mapping with the Health Improvement team in Inverclyde. He also facilitated a session with them on co-production, along with Nancy Greig, Development Manager in the People Powered Health and Wellbeing Programme at the ALLIANCE.

Paul writes:

In the co-production session we looked at general ideas about what co-production is, using the New Economics Foundation (NEF) Self Reflection Framework toolkit and the Governance International (GI) Co-production “Star.” We then moved into small groups each reviewing a recent case study produced for the new Co-production Resource in Scotland. Each group then presented their “findings” saying what they liked, found useful, could learn from and so on. We then did an action plan exercise to identify how and where participants could take these ideas forward in their own work in Inverclyde.
